Who we are
TMG Environment Watch is run by Trash Must Go (TMG). For any question about your information, email us at Letstalk@trashmustgo.com.
What we collect
- The problem you describe, its type, community, local government area and nearby landmark.
- Your phone's location, only if you tap "Use my location".
- Photos you choose to add. We make them smaller and remove hidden camera information (such as GPS) before storing them.
- Your name and phone number or email, only if you choose to give them.
- A one-way scrambled code made from your internet address, used only to stop repeated submissions.
Why we collect it
To understand, locate, review and follow up on the environmental problems you report, and to contact you about your report if you gave contact details. We do not use your information for advertising and we do not sell it.
Who can see it
- Your contact details: TMG administrators only.
- Report details, photos and location: TMG administrators, and field officers for reports assigned to them.
- The tracking page shows only the type of problem, community, date, status and public updates, to anyone holding your private tracking link.
- There is no public map or public list of reports.
- If a report is passed to another organisation, we share only the details needed to act on it, such as the location, description and photos. We do not share your name or contact details without your permission.
How long we keep it
We keep reports, photos and contact details for up to one year after a report is closed. After that we delete them.
Your choices
You can report without giving your name or contact details. To ask what information we hold about you, or to correct or delete it, email Letstalk@trashmustgo.com and include your report reference.
Not an emergency service
This platform is not monitored around the clock and is not an emergency service. Sending a report does not guarantee any action.
